It has been confirmed to be originating from the city of Wuhan, the sprawling capital of China’s Hubei province. It originates from a specific and popular market where there is extensive trade of wild animals. These animals include bats, wild monkeys, yaks, porcupines, rodents and even bats. From a scientific point of view, the selling of the wild animals already make this capital of Hubei province of China much dangerous than previously imagined. As of now, it is under quarantine state.
